We strive to move our foster dogs around as little as possible, so the longer the better! However, a commitment of 4+ weeks is a great place to start. We are also always in need of short term and emergency fosters, so if your schedule does not permit long term fostering but you would still like to help, then Ace of Hearts will always have you! Our dogs can always use the love.

NOTHING! Ace of Hearts will cover ALL costs for the dog. Food, treats, toys, medical care, extra necessary items and anything extra you think will help your pup thrive is provided by us. Of course, you are always welcome to spoil them with more but just coming with an open heart and patient personality is more than enough.

As a foster, you are first and foremost responsible for providing a dog with a loving and safe place to stay. This is most important! However, you will also need to be available to come to our adoption events in West Hollywood every other Saturday to pick up supplies, be able to do meet and greets with potential adopters, and be able to take dogs to vet appointments as needed.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it! Any way a dog can find their forever without having to move around too much is a win for us and for them!

We have you covered! If you are fostering a dog for Ace of Hearts and have an upcoming vacation just provide us with as much notice as possible and we will find the dog a temporary foster to give them love while they wait for you to come home.
